As the humanitarian and relief agency of The United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Committee on Relief puts the beliefs of the church into action and makes a real difference in the world. This often means rebuilding lives, homes and hope. When a disaster overwhelms a community, UMCOR is one of the first agencies in and the last out.
This is true for those affected by the unprecedented disasters in 2018, which include the fires that ravaged California and the hurricanes that ripped apart the southeastern United States.
This would not be possible without the generosity of those who give to UMCOR. Our work also would not be possible without strong partnerships with United Methodist annual conferences, central conferences and other Methodist bodies internationally, along with aid organizations, relief agencies, communities and local nongovernmental organizations worldwide.
UMCOR has been rebuilding hope for nearly 80 years, and we invite you to become a part of this legacy through your generosity and prayers.
