Small Church, Big Impact
This year SGA is going to be focusing efforts around the specific needs of small and rural churches. Anne Bosarge is visiting small churches in the conference and trying to gather groups of pastors for a planning, brainstorming, and dreaming session around how small churches can make a big kingdom impact in our conference. We will be hosting many of these throughout the conference in 2024 - choose the one that best meets your calendar needs or geographic needs. Lunch will be included.

Discipleship Bootcamp
Join us for a Discipleship Bootcamp!
Feel like you'd like to get your church's programs and ministries in shape for the fall? Join us for a weekend discipleship bootcamp! We will talk about the mindset of a disciple, take a look at how people grow, and discuss the stages of spiritual growth and development, and be equipped to be disciples who make disciples. Looking for CEUs? participants will earn 1 CEU for this weekend retreat.
Who: Clergy or laity! Anyone is welcome!
Dates: July 26-27, Friday night at 5:30pm - Saturday afternoon at 4pm
Location: Honey Creek Retreat Center, 299 GA Episcopal Center, Waverly, GA
Cost: $160 for guests staying single, $110 for guests staying double, $50 for commuters (Includes Dinner Friday Night, Breakfast & Lunch on Saturday)

Lay Planter's Academy
Are you ready to be a good gardener? Do you feel God calling you to plant something new? Even if you're not sure what it is, if you feel the urge to explore what it would look like to start a new ministry, faith community, or outreach, join us this fall for the Planter's Academy. This will be a hybrid (online and in-person) course in how to discern your call and how to plant well. If you feel a stirring to join us on the mission of planting new things in new places for new people, register today!
Who: Clergy and laity- we will have cohorts for each group of people with content just for you!
