Hospitality is not just a good suggestion for the church, it’s essential to the church! Hospitality wasn’t just something nice people did for others; it was core to the culture of the early church.
What would it look like to recapture that sense of hospitality, not so we can just get people to come back, but purely and simply from a heart of love for our neighbors?
Recently, I led a Zoom conversation as we explored how to reinfuse a culture of hospitality in our congregations and how this can lead to effective guest welcoming and follow-up - especially at Easter!
