This district training event is a one day Statesboro district-wide training event designed to equip congregational leaders with tools to be effective in the area they have been called to serve. Set for January 28 at Pittman Park UMC, this training day is geared towards leaders who may be may be asking “What are my responsibilities? How do I get started? Where can I find information and resources?” Cost for the event is $7, which includes lunch. Please contact the Statesboro District Office, 912-871-3306, for more information and to register a group from your church. Registration begins at 9:30 with the main gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m. and concluding by 2:00 p.m. This event is being sponsored by the Connectional Ministries Office and the Statesboro District.
